Northern Kentucky University is committed to excellence in regional stewardship and the economic development of our region and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We are committed to Vision 2015, our regional strategic plan, and its primary goal to create 50,000 new high-paying jobs in our region. Achieving this goal will lead to increased prosperity and quality of life for our citizens and will provide social benefits as well through the enhanced tax revenue accruing to our state.
As a key partner in the effort to assure that our region reaches its potential as a key economic engine for the state, NKU has developed an Economic Initiatives Plan showing the many initiatives that we can implement with our regional partners to enhance economic development and growth. We are excited about the prospects for these initiatives having a major impact as together we all strive for success in this great endeavor.
